SDMA is the final and only West Coast venue for this nationally touring display of iconic works by O’Keeffe and the important women modernists who paved her way. Featuring over 80 works, the exhibition is the first to present pieces by all these women artists together in the same context. The women were all, at one point, promoted by famed New York gallerist and photographer Alfred Stieglitz, who later became O'Keeffe's husband.
