MamaVote Resource: FactCheck.org

As part of the MamaVote section of our website we are trying to find resources and tools you can use as Mamas to make the best voting decisions...here is our latest find...

Sometimes it is hard to figure out what the truth is behind all of the statements that politicians make in their speeches, tv commercials and debates. Thank goodness for organizations like Fact Check...a "nonpartisan, nonprofit, "consumer advocate" for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics." Basically, they monitor the "factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews, and news releases."

Check them out next time you are confused about the accuracy of a statement, commercial or interview.
