I don't usually make my husband dinner on Valentine's Day, but since it is on a Thursday this year and a babysitter might be difficult to find, I just might try my hand at a fancy dinner.
But, first things first...dessert!
I have been wanting to see what all the hype is surrounding Sprinkles Cupcakes. While they don't have a San Diego location, Williams-Sonoma sells Sprinkles cupcake baking mixes. Cupcakes not your thing? Williams-Sonoma also has a good selection of Valentine treats...including a heart-shaped red-velvet cake...very romantic!
Or, for a second decadent option, I am considering ordering a delicious cake from Extraordinary Desserts.
